Our Work

What We Do

We walk alongside Latino cancer survivors and their families — providing the bilingual mental health education, peer connection, and community partnerships they need to heal with dignity.

Founder's Vision

A Mission Born from Lived Experience

Humanity Touches was founded on a simple but powerful belief: that every person who has faced cancer deserves to heal — not just physically, but emotionally, culturally, and spiritually. For too many Latino families, the mental health toll of chemotherapy goes unaddressed, unseen, and unsupported.

Our founder saw this gap firsthand and decided to act. By combining bilingual education, peer-led support, and trusted community partnerships, Humanity Touches creates a space where survivors feel seen in their language, their culture, and their humanity.

"Healing is not a luxury — it is a right. We exist to make sure no survivor walks that road alone."

How We Support Survivors

Bilingual Mental Health Education

We deliver culturally grounded, Spanish-English workshops that reduce stigma around mental health and equip survivors and caregivers with practical tools for emotional resilience after chemotherapy.

Peer Connection & Support Groups

Shared experience is one of the most powerful forms of healing. We facilitate peer-led support groups where Latino cancer survivors can speak openly, be heard, and build lasting bonds with others who truly understand.

Community Partnerships

We collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and advocacy groups to expand access to trauma-informed, culturally responsive mental health care for underserved Latino communities.

Our Impact

Why This Work Matters

Latino cancer survivors face compounding barriers — language, cultural stigma, limited access to culturally competent care, and the emotional weight of survivorship. Humanity Touches bridges these gaps with compassion, community, and evidence-informed support.
