Our Outreach
At Humanity Touches, our work doesn't stop at the clinic door. Because illness affects the whole family and the whole community, we extend our support to the Latino families and neighbors around us — including seniors isolated during caregiving, unhoused community members, and families who need accessible ways to connect and de-stress together.
Caring for the Homeless
We believe every person deserves dignity, warmth, and nourishment — regardless of their housing status. Our street outreach teams go directly into the community, including Latino neighbors who are unhoused, to meet people where they are.
Street Outreach with Care Kits
Volunteers distribute hygiene kits, socks, water, and essential supplies directly to unhoused individuals in our community.
Lunch Sack Donations
We organize and distribute hundreds of packed lunches to unhoused community members through regular donation drives.
Meal Trays for Shelters
We partner with local shelters to deliver hot meal trays, ensuring residents receive nutritious, dignified meals.
Supporting Seniors
Isolation is one of the greatest threats to senior wellbeing — especially for Latino elders navigating illness, whether their own or a loved one's, without support nearby. We reach out with consistent check-ins, skill-building, and social connection to help them thrive.
Wellness Check-ins by Phone
Regular phone calls to isolated seniors to check on their health, emotional wellbeing, and connect them to local resources.
Social and Cognitive Skills Support
Group activities and one-on-one sessions designed to keep seniors mentally engaged, socially connected, and emotionally supported.
Technical Skills Support
We help seniors navigate smartphones, video calls, and online services so they can stay connected with family and access care.
Get Involved
Whether you want to volunteer at a street outreach, call a senior, or support our community — there is a place for you.
